Angel Reese and her former Chicago Sky teammate Marina Mabrey have been in Miami for some time now. While they have been putting up work in the gym, the fun has never gone missing between them.

Their latest interaction in the Unrivaled training room is just another piece of evidence, apart from their other hilarious social media conversations. Mabrey posted a video on her social media revealing a humorous comment that Reese made, not realizing that it was her former teammate.

In her IG story on Friday, the former $639,881 Sky player [per Spotrac] revealed that Angel Reese told her that she looked "thick."

"Guys Angel just came in the locker room and said I look thick," Mabrey said in the video.

Reese, who was lying behind her with her physical therapist, corrected her and said that they were in the training room. Reese also revealed that she made her remark without knowing it was Mabrey.

"I didn’t know that was you back there," she said.

"@angelreese5 it's confirmed," Mabrey wrote in the caption.

Marina Mabrey was selected 19th overall in the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. She was traded to the Dallas Wings following her first season with the Sparks.

After three seasons with the Wings, she was traded to the Sky in 2023. In July 2024, Mabrey was traded to the Connecticut Sun.

Following the latest trend was Angel Reese's former Sky teammate Marina Mabrey. After Mabrey posted the video with Natasha Cloud and Satou Sabally watching her dance, Reese reposted that Mabrey could do better than that. The WNBA guard also replied that she would try again the next day.

"Marina, i think you can do better😭😭🤣," Reese wrote.

"I deffff can imma try again tmrw 😅," Mabrey wrote in her reply.

Angel Reese hilariously wrote again that she was expecting a better video since Mabrey was so excited about the video.

"because the way you came in the training room today so excited for me to see, i was expecting better sister 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣," Reese wrote in her repost.

The discussion on Marina Mabrey's dance moves didn't end there. Her new Sun teammate, Dijonai Carrington, also commented on the post, reminding her that she wasn't supposed to post the video.

"I told you NOT to post this 🙆🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️," Carrington wrote.

Mabrey had a wholesome and innocent reply to the Sun guard.

"Lmaoooo I felt like you were being a bit harsh," she wrote.

Marina Mabrey and Angel Reese will represent two different clubs in the Unrivaled. Mabrey will suit up in Phantom's jersey, while Reese will don the Rose BC's colours.
