Angel Reese makes epic recruitment pitch for Olivia Miles to join Chicago Sky

Angel Reese may be preparing for the inaugural season of Unrivaled, but she hasn't stopped thinking of the Chicago Sky. After a tumultuous 2024 season in which they missed out on the playoff in the final days of the competition, Reese is ready to take the court again and eager to lead them to the postseason.

Meanwhile, she's seemingly working as a recruiter for her organization. Reese reacted to Olivia Miles' tweet asking fans whether she should wear her hair out for a game, drawing an epic response from the 2024 Rookie of the Year runner-up.

"Yeah but only if you color it blue and yellow🥲," she quote-tweeted.

Right after the 2024 Summer Olympics, she tried to make Gabby Williams return to the team, but given her past experience with the Sky, the French-American player declined the offer.

Now, whether Miles joins her on the Sky won't depend on the player's choice. The 2025 WNBA Draft will have several players waiting to start their professional careers and Miles has been considered a potential candidate to dethrone Paige Bueckers as the No. 1 overall pick.

The Sky will have the No. 3 overall selection this year, meaning they'll have serious chances to recruit Miles to Wintrust Arena.

WNBA legend praised Olivia Miles before Angel Reese tried to recruit her

Olivia Miles has turned a lot of heads this season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and not only Angel Reese but WNBA legend Sue Bird is high on her. The four-time WNBA champion talked about the best prospects who could make noise this NCAA season back in November.

Bird mentioned Miles alongside other players set to dominate the competition in an episode of the "A Touch More" podcast with her fiancé Megan Rapinoe.

"Quick list outside of Paige [Beuckers]. You've got Azzi Fudd, Olivia Miles, Lauren Betts [and] Rori Harmon," Bird said. "Those are four, and five if you count Paige, legit players that we don't know if they're coming out yet and they would shake up the draft," she said. (26:16 mark)

While Paige Bueckers might be the most famous prospect, several players in the NCAA could make an instant impact on the W, and Olivia Miles is one of them.
