Angel Reese has been a divisive figure on social media but is also one of the biggest stars in female basketball, which makes her a topic of conversation. The Chicago Sky shared her feelings known regarding people who use her name to stay relevant.

Amid her first season with Unrivaled, Reese responded to a fan urging her to report YouTube channels that smear her name for the sake of clicks and content. She doesn't want to do so because it's all about making money and helping everybody "eat."

"Nah I want everybody to eat. It’s more than enough for us to all make moneyyyy 🙃 get it how you can lmaooo," Reese tweeted.

There's an increase in content regarding women's basketball, which is a huge step brought about by players like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. They have two of the biggest fanbases in the sport that sometimes take things too far.

Nevertheless, any publicity is welcome given how little the WNBA was getting in previous years. Criticism, scrutiny and whatever negative comments are made by fans are a part of a growing brand, something many NBA stars encountered over the years.

Apart from her podcasts and other projects, Angel Reese remained active on the court with Unrivaled. She's now playing for Rose BC, who are 0-2 after the first week. Reese is averaging 11.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

The Chicago Sky have a task at hand to improve the roster around Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. They weren't off to a great start after not making a qualifying offer to Chennedy Carter, who was the team's best scorer last season.

Carter is now an unrestricted free agent, but there were reports about locker room problems with her. Nevertheless, the Sky have moved and will look for options in free agency.

WNBA legend Candace Parker made a bold prediction regarding one of the biggest names available, Jewell Loyd. The Seattle Storm guard isn't a free agent, but has requested a trade after an investigation into the team's coaching staff concluded.

Parke told Bleacher Report that Loyd could come home to Chicago, pointing out it worked for her in 2021 when she won her second WNBA championship.

"You know, she always enjoys playing at home," Parker said. "I went home, and things worked out."

Loyd would be a perfect replacement for Carter, but it's unclear if the Sky have the assets to trade for her.
