On Sunday, Angel Reese attended the final race of the F1 season in Abu Dhabi. During her visit, the Chicago Sky star met up with Brooklyn Nine-Nine star and American TV personality, Terry Crews.
Reese uploaded a video with Crews on her Instagram story where the Nine-Nine star shouted out Abu Dhabi in front of Reese's 4.5 million followers.
"We are here Abu Dhabi in the house," Crews said.
The Chicago Sky star uploaded a picture with her mother in the following story. She also met up with American actress Taraji P. Henson, who applauded Reese for her accomplishments.
"I am so proud of you, you just kee doing what you doing. You are a force to be reckoned with in so many ways and not just on the court but just in life," Henson said.
The Sky star accepted the praise and showed gratitude to the actress. Later on, Reese uploaded a video of seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton finishing the race. After that, she showed off a video of the Mercedes racer at the garage.
Angel Reese also shared a picture of her outfit before she headed for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. She uploaded a mirror selfie wearing a white top under a faint pink overshirt and beige trousers. She carried a handbag over her shoulder and put on pitch-black sunglasses to finish her look.
Angel Reese reveals the story behind the "Chi-Barbie" nickname
Angel Reese appeared on Friday's edition of the "What an Experience" podcast, hosted by Bulls player Lonzo Ball, his brother LiAngelo Ball and their friends DMO and Anthony Salazar. Reese talked about many things including her thoughts on representing Rose BC in Unrivaled during her time on the podcast.
"I've no complaints. I am excited," Reese said (12:20).
"I am staying in the States, I don't gotta go overseas, I am making six figures, I am living in Miami during my offseason, and I am playing with 34 of some of the best WNBA players being able to get better."
During one segment of the show, LiAngelo asked Reese for the story behind her "Chi-Barbie" nickname. The Sky star was happy to explain the origins of the name.
"I first got the Bayou Barbie when I was in college and that kinda took off. That's how I started my brand," Reese said. "Bayou Barbie was, Bayou was Baton Rouge, and Barbie was because of my nails, hair and lashes and stuff when I was on the court. So, they just kinda put it together."

Reese explained that being a Barbie meant that she could do everything on the court and also do the other stuff she liked. She gave the example of Barbie dolls which come in various roles of doctors, chefs and many more to further elaborate on her point.
