The inaugural season of the 3x3 Unrivaled league tipped off on Friday, featuring a highly anticipated clash between two of women’s basketball’s brightest young stars, Angel Reese and Aliyah Boston. The two squared off during Rose BC’s 79-73 loss to Vinyl BC at the MediaPro Center in Miami.

Both Reese and Boston made significant contributions to their respective teams, but one standout moment from their matchup went viral and captured fans' attention.

Aliyah Boston, who plays for the Indiana Fever, showcased her basketball skills with a crafty move that left Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese on the floor. Boston then calmly sank a jumper from the free throw line, completing the highlight-worthy play.

Fans erupted with excitement after witnessing Boston’s dazzling move, flooding social media with their reactions.

Angel Reese vs. Aliyah Boston

In the first matchup of the season between Angel Reese and Aliyah Boston, the latter claimed bragging rights as Vinyl BC secured the win. However, on an individual level, Reese slightly outperformed Boston.

Reese tallied 10 points on 3 of 7 shooting, along with an impressive 14 rebounds and four assists. In contrast, Boston finished with six points and struggled with efficiency, shooting 3 of 9 from the field. The Fever star also contributed seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in her outing.
