With the WNBA season reaching its final stage, Angel Reese is looking ahead to the Unrivaled basketball league that's set to begin in January 2025. The Chicago Sky forward will be a part of the highly anticipated 3-on-3 tournament and is apparently looking to recruit some star talent for her team.

On Monday, Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray posted a collection of photos of her impressive 2024 season with the caption:

"And that’s a wrap! Until next time"

That led to an interesting response from Reese, who reached out to the All-Star to play alongside her at Unrivaled.

"Let's be teammates for unrivaled?? thanks. ~management," commented Reese.

The inaugural edition of the Unrivaled basketball league will take place in Miami in 2025. The competition, which was launched by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, will have six teams with five players on each roster. The games will be played in a smaller court, and the entire tournament will last eight weeks.

Allisha Gray is coming off an incredible season, helping the Dream to the postseason. Gray led Atlanta's roster in points with 17.5 and also averaged four rebounds and two assists per game.

The 6-foot sharpshooter would be an ideal candidate for any 3-on-3 team that's looking for talent. Gray was a member of the 3-on-3 team that represented the USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In July, Allisha Gray and Angel Reese played alongside each other at the All-Star game for Team WNBA against Team USA. It was a special weekend for Gray who became the first player to win the WNBA's skills challenge and the 3-point contest at the All-Star break. That also led to her taking home $110,000 in prize money.

Following her strong performances in the contests, Gray walked the orange walkway in Phoenix and received some love from Reese. The rookie forward could be heard in the background with some supporting words for her colleague:

"That’s the money, man. Period! She got money! She got money," joked Reese.

Reese's Chicago Sky missed out on the postseason, while Gray's Atlanta Dream side were elminated in the first round of the playoffs. With the Unirivaled tournament set to start in January, the two players won't have much time to rest before the 3-on-3 competition.
