Angel Reese reacts in 2-words to special fan having LSU aspirations overwhelmed by receiving Chicago Sky star's gear

Angel Reese reacted to a young fan overwhelmed after receiving a Christmas gift related to the Chicago Sky star. A video shared on Tuesday on X (formerly Twitter) shows a little girl getting a t-shirt with Reese on it.

The person behind the account shared more details about the girl and why this gift meant so much to her and her family.

"Doctors said she wouldn’t walk, she wouldn’t live a normal life and proved them wrong. Now thanks to @Reese10Angel my baby wants to go to LSU and “try” basketball 😂. Don’t miss! she doesn’t want to be in the wnba . AR has inspired her to go to college.. loved this moment," the caption said.

The WNBA star took notice of this post and reacted with a two-word message, showing love to the girl and her family.

"Merry Christmas! ❤️," the forward tweeted.

While some fans and analysts have tried to push negative narratives about her, Angel Reese has had a positive relationship with fans, supporting them like she did with this girl and also joking with them like she did when somebody wondered what she and her brother ate growing up.

She also revealed details of her life, including the time her mother canceled Christmas Day after she was "being bad."

"My mom did this one time," Reese posted on X on Wednesday. "Christmas and for my birthday once cause i was being bad. I WAS SICKKKKK"

Fortunately for this kid, she did much more than people expected from her, and she's now aiming to become a college player and emulate Reese.

During Monday's edition of her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, the Chicago Sky player sat with her longtime manager, Jeanine Ogbonnaya, to discuss some of the steps she made to be the successful player and businesswoman she is right now.

Among the topics they touched on, Angel Reese revealed she considered playing for Dawn Staley in South Carolina and the Tennessee Lady Volunteers before going to LSU.

"I’m not going to lie, I was so scared to commit to LSU," Reese said (20:53). "That wasn't even actually really an option. I was going to go to South Carolina or Tennessee, I think. Then, Kim called and I was just like, ‘OK, bet. Like, I'll just go.'"
