The Chicago Sky star did not start her collegiate basketball journey at the LSU Tigers. She initially was a power forward in the starting lineup of Maryland University. Reese helped Maryland reach a Sweet 16 finish in the NCAA tournament in her freshman season.
It was during her junior year that Angel Reese decided to transfer to Lousiana State University. She helped the Tigers secure their first NCAA tournament after defeating Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes with a score of 102-85. Reese netted 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in that game.
