Angel Reese's current coach Tyler Marsh worked as an assistant coach for the Las Vegas Aces under head coach Becky Hammon. In three years, Marsh not only played an instrumental role in helping the team win two back-to-back championships but also developed close relationships with players.
His close relationship with Aces' players seems to be still intact. On Dec. 28, Marsh took a playful jab at Chelsea Gray on his social media.
He posted a video of his son Jaxxon Cade Marsh, on his Instagram story, throwing a hilarious no-look pass in one of the family members' faces. On top of that, Jaxxon walked away from the camera with no expression.
"Two years of watching @cgray209 will have you like...😂," Marsh hilariously wrote in the caption.
Chelsea Gray is one of the top point guards in the league and also one of the best passers. During the 2023 WNBA season, she was third in the league in assists per game. Last season, Gray was ranked ninth in the league.
With Tyler Marsh replacing Teresa Weatherspoon for the next season as the head coach for the Sky, the team will expect even better production from Angel Reese, especially on the offensive end.
Marsh has won both NBA and WNBA championships as an assistant coach, which could greatly benefit the Sky team.
Aces star sounds off on "OnlyF*ns" remark against Angel Reese on Jeff Teague's podcast
Jeff Teague's podcast "Club 50" has been in hot water over the last 24 hours. During the latest episode of the podcast on Dec. 28, Charleston White made an offensive remark about Angel Reese.
"I think Angel Reese wants to sell [her] p***y ... I think she is tapping into that h*e side," White said.
Later, he again went off, saying that Reese should do OnlyF*ns.
"I think she needs to do an OnlyF**s, like Shaq said," White said. "She needs to dunk in her p****es ... I'm with you, Shaq!"
The remarks met with outrage on social media. One of the notable names slamming the remark was Las Vegas Aces star Sydney Colson.
"Havin an ignorant a*s sexist on and then actually dropping the episode and then wanting to collab with the W is craaazy work lmao," Colson wrote in her post.
Earlier, in October, Shaquille O'Neal faced heavy backlash after he made a controversial comment on Angel Reese's podcast, "Unapologetically Angel." The NBA legend said in his remark that if the Sky star would dunk in "little shorts," she would be able to sell more T-shirts.
