Angel Reese's former podcast co-host and Satou Sabally gave LSU Tigers guard Flau'Jae Johnson her flowers on Instagram. On Tuesday, Johnson uploaded a picture of herself as the cover model of Forbes magazine's 30 Under 30.
She expressed her gratitude in her caption.
"Forbes 30 Under 30 ?! Nothing But Blessings From The Man Above 🥹 Thank you to @forbes and @forbes30under30 For Noticing The Hardwork!! ❤️ BLESSED🙏," Johnson wrote.
Reese's former co-host Maya Reese took to the comments section to congratulate Johnson.
"LEGENDARY 🔥🔥🔥"
"Earned it," Maya wrote.
Dallas Wings forward Satou Sabally reacted to the post with an emoji, while Johnson's mother and manager, Kia J. Brooks, wrote a heartfelt message for her daughter.
"I couldn’t be more proud of you Flau. You are breaking generational curses and giving people hope and courage to go after their dreams entirely. This is only the beginning of what you’re going to bring to the world. God is assisting this journey. With your creative mind and the resilience in you that don’t take NO for an answer. Is why you’re at this point today!! I love you," Brooks commented.
Flau'jae Johnson made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list because of her skills as a basketball player and rapper. She has appeared on "The Rap Game" and "America's Got Talent" and is signed by Roc Nation. Johnson's versatility as a basketball player, rapper and podcast creator in the NIL era played a big part in her inclusion.
Angel Reese misses out on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list after making it last year
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2025 left out Chicago Sky star Angel Reese. The former LSU forward made the list last year after her performance in the NCAA tournament. Reese helped the Tigers win their first ever women's NCAA title, beating the Iowa Hawkeyes in the championship game.
Her success made her an endorser for brands like Reebok, PepsiCo and Amazon, who offered her lucrative deals using the NIL guidelines. However, Reese missed out on the 2025 list while her former teammate was included. Moreover, Reese's on-court rival and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is also part of it.
