Angel Reese returned to action for Rose Basketball Club in a crucial Unrivaled matchup against Vinyl Basketball Club on Tuesday. Reese dominated her matchup against Aliyah Boston, delivering an outstanding double-double performance. The Chicago Sky star was back in the starting lineup alongside Lexie Hull and Chelsea Gray.
The former Maryland standout put on a stellar performance, shaking off any signs of rust. She made a significant impact on both ends of the floor, controlling the glass, both offensively and defensively, while maintaining a steady scoring rhythm throughout the game.
By the final buzzer, Reese had tallied 16 points, shooting 3-of-6 from the field and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line. She dominated the boards with 15 rebounds, including five on the offensive end and 10 on the defensive end. In addition, she contributed one assist, one steal and committed just one turnover in 19 minutes.

The one-time WNBA All-Star had a slow start. She missed her first shot attempt but remained a force on the boards, continuing her trademark dominance in rebounding. Reese got on the scoreboard with a free throw, steadily finding her rhythm.
By the end of the first quarter, Angel Reese had recorded two points, six rebounds and one turnover, shooting 0-of-1 from the field and a perfect 1-of-1 from the free throw line in five minutes.
In the second quarter, the Rose BC forward found her rhythm, knocking down her first field goal of the game from inside the arc. She attempted two shots in the period, converting both, while also adding three more rebounds to her tally and sinking another free throw.
By halftime, the former LSU standout had put together a solid performance with eight points and nine rebounds in just 10 minutes. She shot efficiently, going 2-of-3 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Out of her nine rebounds, four came on the offensive glass.
Reese carried her momentum into the second half, delivering another dominant performance. She secured yet another double-double by controlling the boards and scoring with remarkable efficiency.
In the third quarter alone, the star forward added six more points while grabbing five additional rebounds. She also recorded her first assist of the game, further contributing to Rose BC’s efforts.
In the fourth quarter, Reese continued to contribute, adding two more points and another rebound to her stat line. Her impressive performance played a key role in Rose BC’s 61-55 victory.
