Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese subtly hit back at fans who trolled her fashion sense as she attended the Victoria Secret's Fashion Show on Tuesday in New York.

The 22-year-old, selected seventh overall in this year's WNBA draft, wore a stylish red dress to the marquee fashion event. While she has earned praise for her outfits, Reese also has had her share of flak from detractors.

One user on X, formerly Twitter, said she looked "cheap and stupid" in her outfits, writing:

"Angel Reese acting like a girl with a nice body that don't know what to do with it. These outfits cheapen her brand, Like she went on some other show and the outfit was so cheap and stupid, Like girl get it together man."

Reese had a prompt response, writing:

"I thought the brand was "cheapened" .... CRY ABOUT IT."

Getting trolled for her fashion is nothing new to Angel Reese, but time and again, she has shown that she couldn't care less about what other people say.

Angel Reese says she embodies fierceness and style

Angel Reese's fashion style may hog the limelight but she said she is more than just being well made up and that she is as fierce as they come on the basketball court.

She reiterated this in an interview with PEOPLE in July, highlighting that she may be put together during game day but when the ball tips off she doesn't hesitate to get down and do the dirty work for the team.

Reese said:

"My nails and hair stuff are always done. I'm being the girly girl on the court but still having that dog mentality and being able to go out there and compete, too."

Angel Reese had an eventful rookie season for the Chicago Sky, establishing herself as a workhorse in rebounds. She led the league in boards with 13.1 rebounds per game, to go along with 13.6 points and 1.3 steals in 32.5 minutes.

She was an All-Star in her first year while setting league records and feats, including 15 consecutive games with a double-double, 26 double-double games, WNBA single-season rebounds (446), and becoming the first player in league history with three straight 20-plus rebound games.

She failed to finish the season as she suffered a wrist injury that forced her to miss the Sky's last six games. Chicago (13-27), missed the playoffs for the first time in six years.
