Angel Reese makes headlines after making Vogue Cover

It's been a mixed start to the new year for Angel Reese. While her bold fashion sense saw her cop flak on social media, she also garnered praise for making the cover of the Vogue magazine. The 'Bayou Barbie' known for her bold and enamoring style, was the cover in an elegant red ruched Versace dress.

Per the Ministry of Sport, Reese spoke of fashion as an interest alongside hoops. The Sky forward reminisced about her early days dabbling in basketball and her love to stay in trend with the latest fashion.

"It’s always been both: basketball and fashion. I was always in my mom’s closet, putting on her stuff. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do."

On the season front, Reese's Rose Unrivaled stint will put her in the spotlight ahead of her sophomore WNBA season. The rookie exceeded all expectations of her in her maiden run with Chicago despite the team failing to make the playoffs. With a new coach and a tweaked roster, seeing if Reese and the Sky can make a deeper run this season will be interesting.
