Breanna Stewart's wife Marta Xargay drops 3 words on her special date with Liberty star

With just a few days left to start her Unrivaled stint, Breanna Stewart is making the most of her family time. She enjoyed a date with her wife Marta Xargay. On Tuesday, the wife of the New York Liberty star posted a picture of Stewart in a black, collared T-shirt and her signature black sunglasses on her Instagram story.

"My date, HER 😍," Xargay wrote in the caption of the story.

Breanna Stewart, who is also one of the co-founders of the inaugural Unrivaled league with Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, is in Miami. All of the league's games are scheduled to be played in the city.

Stewart is part of the Mist Basketball Club which will also open the season against Collier and the Lunar Owls on Friday. She will be joined by Courtney Vandersloot, DiJonai Carrington, Jewell Loyd, Aaliyah Edwards and Rickea Jackson on the Mist team. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on TNT.

Marta Xargay drops family pictures ahead of wife Breanna Stewart's Unrivaled debut

Breanna Stewart and Marta Xargay have been together for over half a decade now, and after five years, they are a family of four.

On Tuesday, Xargay posted family pictures and videos on her Instagram. The posts included their children playing with Stewart and their grandmother.

"Vive, no solo existas (Live, Don't just exist) ✨," the caption of the post read.

While Stewart found herself down with an Achilles injury while playing in Russia, it also happened to be one of the most interesting parts of her life.

It was during her Achilles injury and back in the United States that she found herself in love with Xargay. According to People, it was during this time that Stewart and Xargay formed a strong bond which later turned into marriage.

Marta Xargay and Breanna Stewart got married on Jul. 6, 2021. Just a few months later, the couple had their first child, a daughter Ruby, on Aug. 9, through surrogacy. Ruby was born a day after Stewart won the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo. They welcomed their son Theo Josep Stewart Xargay on Oct. 25, 2023.
