Fans reacted as Angel Reese announced over the weekend that Carmelo Anthony's son, Kiyan Anthony, will be the next guest on her podcast, "Unapologetically Angel." The two teased Kiyan's appearance by sharing a TikTok video, which fans reacted to on social media.
In a TikTok reel, Reese posted a video of herself dancing with Kiyan to the tune of FendiDaRappa and Shamar Marco's "Clock Dat." Kiyan, the 17-year-old shooting guard, is already taller than the Chicago Sky star. Kiyan is a part of the 2025 recruiting class and has six offers from different basketball programs.
"@K I Y🥱," Reese wrote.
Fans online reacted to Angel Reese and Kiyan Anthony's short TikTok clip. Some are even jealous of Kiyan because he's spending time with the Rookie of the Year runner-up.
"Bro is living my dream," a fan wrote.
"That flow though! 🔥 Can't believe how effortless it sounds. Real talent right here!," one responded.
"The fact that she got this too cool dude to move is pretty good!!," another fan commented.
Many of Angel Reese's followers cannot wait for the episode to drop. Reese has been busy with her podcast this offseason while recovering from wrist surgery. She will be playing at the Unrivaled basketball league in January as one of the 30 members of the roster.
"This is gonna be a fun podcast," one fan wrote.
"Cant wait for this episode ❤️🔥," a fan said.
"They are cute! 🥰🥰🥰," another fan remarked.
Reese launched her podcast in September, and there have been eight episodes so far. Some of her guests include Polo G, Latto, Mariah The Scientist, Sheryl Swoopes, Dwyane Wade, Kayla Nicole Brown, GloRilla and Shaquille O'Neal.
Shaquille O'Neal opens up about being a Caitin Clark 'hater' because of Angel Reese
On the "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, Shaquille O'Neal discussed being a "hater" of Caitlin Clark. O'Neal admitted that he had to show his support for Angel Reese, who went to LSU just like him.
However, the Hall of Famer realized that Clark is a talented player and didn't deserve to get the "hate" from him.
"She's doing stuff we've never seen before," O'Neal said, according to Complex.
"Never seen nobody do that on a consistent basis. There's a lot of girls in the WNBA that does it in spurts, but you know, that game I'm watching y'all in the Final Four, I'm like, 'Damn! And I was a hater 'cause you know I'm down with you, and I was like, 'She's not going to hit that shot and Bam!' Like if I say 10 times you not going to hit the shot, and you hit the shot, that means you the truth."
A new chapter of the Clark-Reese rivalry will unfold next season when both players will have new coaches after the Fever and the Sky fired Christie Sides and Teresa Weatherspoon, respectively.
