The Indiana Fever uploaded a new Caitlin Clark video on social media, including X, formerly known as Twitter. Sports broadcaster and host Robin Lundberg highlighter Clark's popularity by pointing out the amount of views the new video received in the first 20 minutes.
Lundberg re-tweeted the Fever's video of Clark working out with coach Stephanie White for the first time. White was hired as Indiana's coach for the second time and is coming off two successful seasons with the Connecticut Sun.
Lundberg seemingly called out Clark's "fans" who weren't happy with her comments in her TIME Magazine interview. The Fever's post on X received 20,000 views and impressions in less than half an hour.
As of this writing, the original post by the Indiana Fever on their X account has had nearly 900,000 views after six hours. Caitlin Clark is very popular, which is one of the reasons why the WNBA had a successful last season.
The league didn't even do a great job promoting Clark or their best players, so it could have been bigger. The Fever and the city of Indianapolis made a lot of money due to her presence. That's why the organization is doing its best to give Clark the best it can.
The franchise hired a new team president, general manager and coach. They have heavily promoted her and the rest of the team on social media. It also helps that they have cap space this offseason to surround Clark with more talent to compete next season.
As expected, Clark won't play competitive basketball this offseason. She turned down Unrivaled, which will begin play on Jan. 17, and didn't sign with any team overseas.
Caitlin Clark attended Justin Timberlake concert after first workout with Stephanie White
After a busy morning with coach Stephanie White in the gym, Caitlin Clark went to a Justin Timberlake concert in the evening. Clark was with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, who's an assistant coach for the Butler Bulldogs. She has been to several Butler games to season to show her support to McCaffery.
The couple was with Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones. The quartet were in the front row and took a group picture with Timberlake performing in the background. Jones shared the image on Instagram stories.
Haliburton and McCaffery had the night off, as the Pacers and Butler don't have a game on Wednesday. The Pacers have three days off before flying to Phoenix on Thursday to face the Suns, while Butler takes on Marquette at the Fiserv Forum this Wednesday.
