After LeBron James' recent heroics for Team USA, even WNBA All-Star forward A'ja Wilson was in awe of what she saw. James led the national team to a 92-88 win against Germany on Monday for their final exhibition game. The Americans ended on a high note, staying undefeated in their friendly matches before the 2024 Paris Olympics.

James finished with 20 points, six rebounds and four assists to lead the national team to a win. Although he was excellent in the entire game, his fourth-period performance was the highlight of their game. The LA Lakers star scored 11 points in the final quarter and went 4-4 from the field.

Las Vegas Aces star Wilson watched the game live. She's in Germany as they will play against their national team on Jul. 28 before they tip things off for their group games for the Olympics. After the men's basketball team showed off an excellent performance, she admired James and his recent work.

Wilson took to X (formerly Twitter) with her thoughts on what James did.

"Couldn’t tweet cause I didn’t have service but Bron different fr fr," Wilson posted on social media.

With James' performance, Wilson might be inspired to do the same for the women's squad against Germany.

Team USA's loss against WNBA All-Stars fueling A'ja Wilson and others for the Olympics

Before Team USA traveled to Europe for the Olympics, they took on WNBA All-Stars last Saturday, Jul. 20. It was a send-off from the league to prepare them for what's at stake as they represent the country. Much to the surprise of everyone, the All-Star team beat the national team 117-109.

Team USA is also comprised of stars in the league but they weren't able to win over the weekend. Still, A'ja Wilson and the other stars in the national team remain positive that they'll perform well in Paris.

"We have to adjust to different schemes, different languages, and trust the process, honestly, and our buy-in factor," Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson said. "I think that we're not about to press the panic button right now because this is our first test, and I'm glad we got tested."

New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart is also positive that their loss against the stars will help them perform better in representing America.

"This is going to help us tremendously," Stewie said. "... We can go back and watch the film, focus on how we can continue to be better. It was like a little bit of a deja vu feeling, honestly, but just locking in."

Wilson scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds against the WNBA stars. Stewart performed great as she had 31 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
