Caitlin Clark, on Jason and Travis Kelce's podcast The New Heights, revealed her favorite Iowa memory not many might know about, and it involved traveling outside.
Clark disclosed that during her time at Iowa, she traveled to two European countries during the summer. The two countries were Italy and Croatia, adding that Croatia was her favorite.
“Every four years in college basketball, you get to take a foreign trip and you like go and play some teams overseas, like in the summer before your season,” Caitlin Clark said.
“So we went to Italy and Croatia, like two great spots,”
She was then asked which was her favorite. Clark replied:
“Honestly, Croatia. It’s great.”
Clark loved Croatia for its serene environment, water and food, pitching it as a top destination for travelers.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Kelce brothers had hinted at a guest appearance on their show. Fans on social media speculated that it could be Clark, the Indiana Fever star, which proved correct.
Caitlin Clark's time at Iowa Hawkeyes was phenomenal, breaking and setting numerous records. Notably, the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer with 3,951 points, led the division in points and assists per game in a season.
