Iowa was down for most of the game before taking over the fourth quarter, outscoring Iowa State 22-13. Lucy Olsen led the way for the Hawkeyes with 25 points and five assists, while Sydney Affolter had 16 points, six rebounds and two assists.

Hannah Stuelke added 13 points, nine rebounds and two assists as Iowa earned their 30th win over the Cyclones in women's basketball history. They are currently ahead in the all-time head-to-head matchup, 30-20. It was also the Haweyes' ninth win of the season.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Caitlin Clark commented about the jubilant mood in the Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Clark has had a lot of games with incredible atmosphere, something that she brought to the Indiana Fever and the WNBA.

"I know Carver is on one right now !!! @IowaWBB," Clark tweeted.

Clark was in New York City for TIME Magazine's "A Year in TIME" event to celebrate this year's honors. The Fever guard was named the Athlete of the Year, while Elton John was named ICON of the Year and Lisa Su was awarded CEO of the Year.

President-elect Donald Trump was revealed as the Person of the Year at the event for the second time. He was also named Person of the Year in 2016 after winning the United States presidential election.

Caitlin Clark just finished her rookie season with the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, but she's already looking forward to the end of her career. Clark told NBC's Maria Taylor during their conversation at the event on Wednesday that she wants to be a team owner.

"I love basketball and hopefully, once basketball ends, I can still find things that I'm really passionate about and can do," Clark said. "I'll hopefully be an owner of a sports team one day."

Clark wants to invest in women's sports, which she believes is "on the rise." She's already part of an ownership group reportedly trying to bring an NWSL franchise to the city of Cincinnati. The league is expected to make a decision later this month, as per ESPN.
