Caitlin Clark was at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday night for Taylor Swift’s “The Era’s Tour.” The Indiana Fever star, a fan of the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist, received a standing ovation when her presence was announced. The WNBA All-Star couldn’t hold back when Gracie Abrams opened Swift’s concert with a number.

Clark went on Instagram to share a story and wrote:

With Indy being the last leg on the US tour, thousands joined Caitlin Clark in the arena. After Friday’s performance, Taylor Swift will take her act to Rogers Centre and BC Place in Canada. Droves of fans, even from outside Indianapolis, packed the arena and reportedly broke the attendance record for a Lucas Oil Stadium concert.

Swift was scheduled to sing 28 songs including “You Belong With Me,” “Cruel Summer,” and “Blank Space.” She will reportedly cap off the night with her uber-popular single “Shake It Off,” a number expected to rock the stadium.

Coincidentally, Taylor Swift has her song “22” in the setlist, Caitlin Clark’s jersey number with the Indiana Fever.

Caitlin Clark exchanges friendship bracelets with Taylor Swift fans

Caesar’s Superdome built a giant friendship bracelet when Taylor Swift had a concert in New Orleans. The accessory traveled to Indianapolis, adorning the entrance of Lucas Oil Stadium for Friday night’s event.

Inside the arena, the former Iowa star and some fans exchanged friendship bracelets while waiting for Swift to come on stage. Clark, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, had to reach down to fans desperate to participate in the trade-off accessories.

After the Indiana Fever lost to the Connecticut Sun in the playoffs, Clark told reporters she would enjoy her offseason.
