Ever since her college days, people have started to pay more attention to women's basketball. Her ability to play the game at an elite level has made it more entertaining for basketball fans. Now that she's playing in the best league, more people have been drawn to see her play, helping her team generate more viewership.
Not only does the Fever get more viewership in their broadcasted games, but they've also seen a significant increase in their home game attendance. According to a Clark fan page on X (formerly Twitter), the Fever saw an increase in their home games this season by 413.5%.
They aren't the only team that has seen an increase. The Atlanta Dream trail the fever in in-game attendance increase with 59% and the LA Sparks had 58%. All teams had an increase of over 10% compared to the last season. The Chicago Sky had a 20% increase in their in-arena attendance. It may not be as impressive as what Clark did for Indiana, but it's still a significant increase.
Clark has not missed a game this season and fans are eager to watch her, even on nights when she struggles. The top pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft is averaging 16.1 points, six rebounds and 7.4 assists in 22 games played.
Her popularity has also helped her lead the All-Star game voting, which allowed her to be named an All-Star in her first season. Clark will play alongside some of the league's best players on July 20.

After recording her first triple-double in the league, she was asked by a reporter if anyone reached out to her. Clark dryly answered the question, which drew laughter from the reporters.
