Sports photographer Bri Lewerke will attend the game between Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's alma mater, Iowa, and the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday in Iowa City. On Saturday, Lewerke announced she would be at the women's basketball matchup by posting throwback photos she snapped when she attended a Hawkeyes game in March.

The image set included photos of Clark and other Iowa Hawkeyes alum, such as Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall. It also included one of San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, who attended the University of Iowa from 2013-2016.

Clark went on to express how she felt about not being there this year through the comments section of Lewerke's post.

"Jealous," Clark wrote.

Lewerke would respond to Clark's comment, writing things would be different without the Fever star there.

"@caitlinclark22 Won't be the same without you," Lewerke posted.

Bri Lewerke is a freelance photographer, according to her Instagram bio and her website. She has done work for Nike, Bleacher Report and Sports Illustrated. Fans can see several images of the Indiana Fever on her profile, but she has also covered other teams and has photos from the NFL as well.

The images from Lewerke's post likely span more than just one Iowa game from March. In March 2023, three games took place at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.

On March 3, the Hawkeyes played Ohio State for an intra-conference matchup. Then on March 23 and 25, they faced Holy Cross and West Virginia, respectively, in the NCAA Tournament.

Sunday's matchup between the No. 23 Hawkeyes (12-2) and the No. 8 Terrapins (13-0) will tipoff at 6 p.m. ET. The game will air on BTN and can be live-streamed on FuboTV.

Bri Lewerke shared images of Caitlin Clark's final year in Iowa and rookie year in the WNBA after career milestone

2024 was a big year for Caitlin Clark. She closed her legendary college career with Iowa and then made the big jump to the pros. She was drafted first overall by the Fever, and while it wasn't all smooth sailing, she had a rookie season to remember.

Due to everything she accomplished in her maiden year, Clark was named TIME's Athlete of the Year for 2024. After she was announced as the winner of this award, tributes came in from everywhere for the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. One of these tributes came from sports photographer Bri Lewerke.

Lewerke's photo set, posted to her Instagram on Dec. 11, showcases images from Clark's final year with Iowa and her first season in the WNBA. The photos had a theme of Clark in similar-looking situations in college and the pros.

Caitlin Clark thanked Lewerke in the post's comments section for capturing and sharing these moments.

"My GOAT... Thanks for helping share all these amazing mems," Clark wrote.
