Fans reacted to the hate that basketball analyst Rebecca Lobo got for backing Caitlin Clark before she was drafted by the Indiana Fever. In February earlier this year, Lobo had a much-hyped-prediction about the Iowa player.

On her X/Twitter post, Lobo had said in February that if the Fever selected Clark, she would put MVP numbers in her rookie season. She also wrote that not only Clark was going to put in unbelievable numbers, but she was also going to elevate her teammates.

Lobo was ruthlessly roasted by users on social media. Some of them even said that the Iowa player would not even be the best player on her own team. Watching the doubters being proven wrong and Lobo right, fans on X have reacted very vocally.

Some of the fans were happy that Caitlin Clark had proven her doubters wrong in her rookie season.

"Yeah, Caitlin then cooked the haters and proved Rebecca Lobo right!" a fan wrote.

Some of the fans gave props to Lobo for showing faith in Clark's skills even before she landed in the WNBA.

"Rebecca Lobo knows ball!" a fan wrote.
"Never doubt the Legend Rebecca Lobo!" another fan wrote.

Some of the fans called out the critics who had trolled Lobo for her take on Clark.

"Cotton picker Rebecca Lobo got roasted. But where are them critics now, nowhere to be found, I'll guarantee it," a fan wrote.
"We need more Rebeca Lobos who are not jealous of the younger generation taking over the WNBA," another fan wrote.

Some fans called out critics who had called Clark a ball hog.

"People who use the term 'selfish' and 'ball-hog' in the same sentence as Caitlin Clark have never actually watched her play a single game," a fan wrote.
"Caitlin Clark haters gotta be the lowest IQ individuals to roam this planet," a fan wrote.

Ex-NBA player Rashad McCants calls out Caitlin Clark critics

Caitlin Clark might have struggled at the beginning of the season. But all the hype around her now makes sense to even her haters, given how quickly she has adjusted to the league.

Yesterday, a report posted on X pointed out that Clark was leading all guards in the league in at least four categories. She leads all the guards in the league in points created, assists, blocks and rebounds.

Moreover, she is one of the top guards in the league in terms of points per game and steals.

Replying to the post, Rashid McCants wrote that the post doesn't say a rookie but a guard and that itself is a testament to how great Clark has been in her rookie season.

In 28 games this season, Clark is averaging 17.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
