Caitlin Clark is set to have a busy weekend, not only for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game scheduled for Saturday but also for symbolic participation in an iconic NASCAR race on Sunday.

Josh Berry, who runs for the Stewart-Haas Racing team, will feature a special paint scheme for this weekend's race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Cup Series. This will mark the return of the Brickyard 400 to the competition.

The team shared the first images of this paint scheme with Clark shooting the ball on the hood of the Ford Mustang Dark Horse that'll race in the oval configuration of the track.

Panini Trading Cards is playing a major role in this decision. They are NASCAR's official trading card partner and are using one of Clark's trading cards, 'Raining 3s,' to make this design.

Caitlin Clark and Josh Berry share something more than the car card inspired by one of Clark's trading cards. They both are rookies, even though Berry is 11 years older than Clark. Still, that hasn't been an issue to lead the Rookie of the Year standings in the category and make a push for the postseason in the next five races.

As for Clark, she's 22 but already one of the biggest names in the WNBA. The Indiana Fever player was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft after shattering records at a collegiate level with the Iowa Hawkeyes, even becoming the all-time scoring leader in NCAA Division I.

As a pro, Clark became the first WNBA rookie to record a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists against the New York Liberty earlier this month.

Caitlin Clark breaks huge viewership record for WNBA

Caitlin Clark's popularity has gone through the roof since she made it to the WNBA. She was already surrounded by high expectations before entering the game, becoming a better player by the day, drawing more attention to herself, her team and the league.

This season, the WNBA has had 15 games with over one million viewers. 13 of those 15 games featured Clark. Clark has become a sensation, and the fans aren't missing her games.

The Indiana Fever broke the record for more combined fans in both away and home games in a single season, confirming that the young star is taking the league to new heights.
