Caitlin Clark has made countless headlines since making her debut in the WNBA in May earlier this year. As her popularity has grown exponentially, the league has seen record-breaking attendance in stadiums and TV viewership, much of which is credited to the Indiana Fever rookie.

Former WNBA player Chiney Ogwumike appeared on the "Awful Announcing" podcast to crown Clark as a 'generational impact player' over legends and veterans of the game.

"She is the most impactful player that I have seen hit the scene," Ogwumike said. "Not even just in basketball but in sports in a generation for how she moves the needle not only with viewership but business, and that rising tide lifts all boats.
"I played against Maya Moore, I played against Candace Parker, I played against Diana Taurasi, particularly most of those in the WNBA and my big sis in life, my mentor, is Lisa Leslie. I know the greatness that the game has always had, but Caitlin Clark is bringing it to new heights, exponential heights."

Ogwumike further praised Caitlin Clark for bringing the limelight to the league and also talked about the misconceptions fans sometimes have. She remarked that viewers occasionally misinterpret praise for other players as a slight against Clark. The former LA Sparks player clarified that this is not the case, as players advancing in the game should be praised, and Clark should also be recognized for her contributions.

Coach K believes Caitlin Clark's shooting is not her best skill

Legendary NCAA coach Mike Krzyzewski, popularly known as 'Coach K,' believes that Caitlin Clark's insane shooting prowess, which allows her to sink the ball even from 30 feet, is not her best skill. The coach appeared on "The Herd" podcast where he expressed his opinion on Clark's skills as a player:

"I think the best thing she does is pass. She is an amazing passer. She sees things, there are talks about her shooting, scoring, and obviously she does that really well, but she makes teammates better and putting her on a WNBA team, where you have adults, older players, really talented players, you gonna see her talent even more."

The guard broke the record for the most assists in a single WNBA game in her rookie season. She provided a record 19 assists in a matchup against the Dallas Wings last month. She is the season leader in assists provided in the WNBA, averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists for the Fever.
