Team USA's women's basketball team, featuring A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, concluded the Olympics with a bang, winning their eighth consecutive gold medal in Paris.

Sabrina Ionescu took to Instagram to celebrate her first gold medal after an impressive Olympic performance.

WNBA rookie sensation Caitlin Clark offered her support in the comments of Ionescu's Instagram post.

Sabrina Ionescu was crucial for Team USA off the bench, facilitating the second unit. In six Olympic contests, Ionescu averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds, shooting 42 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the arc.

Team USA was led by superstar wing duo, A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart. Wilson averaged team-highs with 18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.

Stewart was a consistent second option for Team USA, averaging 16.3 points, 2.8 assists and 5.3 rebounds, shooting 56 percent from the field in the Olympics.

As Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu celebrate Team USA's gold medal finish in Paris, the two will also look to continue their impressive WNBA regular season, which restarts on Thursday, August 15.

Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart have led the New York Liberty to a 21-4 record, leading the team to the first seed in the WNBA. In 24 games, Ionescu has averaged 19.4 points, 6.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds, shooting 42 percent from the field and 35 percent from behind the arc.

The Liberty has the second-best 2024 WNBA title odds at +160, just behind the Las Vegas Aces at +150. Caitlin Clark on the other end, is looking to lead Indiana Fever to the playoffs, leading the WNBA Rookie of the Year race to this point of the season.

In 26 games this season, Caitlin Clark has averaged 17.1 points, 8.2 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game, racking up record-breaking performances in her rookie campaign.

Clark has already broken the WNBA single-game assists record with a 19-assist performance versus the Dallas Wings. Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever are fringe playoff contenders at this point of the season, with an 11-15 record and the seventh seed in the WNBA.
