This week, Caitlin Clark is testing her luck on the golf course by competing in a pro-am with the LPGA. While trying to showcase her talents in the event, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year had a funny response to a recent lowlight.

Clark is an avid fan of golf, and even joked about going pro during the offseason. However, a recent clip going around suggests that she's best fit for the hardwood and not the green.

While teeing off to start a hole, Clark accidentally hit the ball wide towards an area where fans were spectating. She ended up sharing the video on her Instagram story to laugh at herself. Clark captioned it by saying hits like that are why she always keeps extra balls in her golf bag.

Caitlin Clark bounced back from rough swing during LPGA pro-am

Caitlin Clark's swing off the tee is far from a proper representation of her abilities on the golf course. The former No. 1 pick ended up settling in and having multiple impressive shots during the pro-am.

Later on, Clark dazzled with an impressive swing on the fairway. Not only did her form look good, but she was able to perfectly chip her ball onto the green to set up for a putt.

In regards to her putting, she performed well in this facet as well. On one hole, she found herself on the edge of the green and was forced to putt. While she wasn't able to sink the shot from distance, the crowd roared as she guided the ball just in front of the cup.

Clark and Korda ended up finishing the course in just under four-and-a-half hours. As of now, it has not been revealed what her final score was. Heading into the event, Clark made it clear that her goal was to finish in under 100 strokes.
