Caitlin Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffery expressed his reaction to Lexie Hull's Instagram post in Rose Basketball Club's jersey. On Saturday, the Indiana Fever star, who is playing for Rose BC in the 3x3 basketball league Unrivaled, shared pictures of herself in her new team's jersey.

Hull got creative with her upload as the caption threw a reference to the first picture featured on the post.

"will you accept this rose?" Hull captioned her post.

In the first picture on the post, she held a rose close to the camera and smiled while sitting on the floor. Hull's Fever teammate Caitlin Clark played in on the creativity and made a hilarious comment while her boyfriend acknowledged it.

"Elite bachelor reference," McCaffery commented.

McCaffery's response was a compliment to Hull's caption. The Indiana Fever star referenced the reality TV show "The Bachelorette" with her caption and Clark's boyfriend praised her for using it with a matching image hence calling it "elite".

Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery have become one of the most popular couples in the WNBA after the Rookie of the Year saw a meteoric rise in her popularity.

According to People, the Fever star and her boyfriend started dating in April 2023 and made their relationship public four months later. McCaffery is a former basketball player for the Iowa Hawkeyes men's team. However, after graduating, he stepped away from playing ball and started pursuing a coaching career.

He was a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA before joining Butler University as an assistant coach in September last year.

Caitlin Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffery penned a loving message for the love of his life on her birthday. On Wednesday, the Butler assistant coach shared a couple of pictures of himself and the WNBA Rookie of the Year on his Instagram handle.

Clark is now enjoying the offseason and taking extra rest while her peers are playing in the 3x3 basketball league, Unrivaled.
