The American news agency honored the 22-year-old for her historic debut season in professional basketball by naming her to the AP All-WNBA First Team. The team also included Las Vegas Aces' A'ja Wilson, Minnesota Lynx's Napheesa Collier, New York Liberty's Breanna Stewart and Connecticut Sun's Alyssa Thomas.
Additionally, Caitlin Clark earned a spot on the AP All-Rookie Team, alongside Chicago Sky's Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, New York Liberty's Leonie Fiebich and LA Sparks' Rickea Jackson.
Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffery shared the Indiana Fever's post, celebrating the 22-year-old's achievement on his Instagram story and wrote "Duh."
The WNBA is yet to announce the Rookie of the Year, but Clark is the overwhelming favorite to win the award. On Sunday, the league revealed the MVP results, with A'ja Wilson claiming the award in a unanimous decision.
Clark finished fourth in the MVP voting, receiving six third-place votes, 26 fourth-place votes and 22 fifth-place votes.
Talking about Clark's season, the former Iowa superstar played all 40 games for Indiana. The 22-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. She shot 41.7% from the field, including 34.4% from the three-point range.
Clark's outstanding performances earned her the Rookie of the Month award four times, Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors three times, and Eastern Conference Player of the Month recognition once.
