Caitlin Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, shared an intimate picture of the two on his Instagram on Thursday. August 1 marks this year's Girlfriend's Day and the basketball couple spent it together. Clark is enjoying her mid-season Olympic break from the WNBA, giving her more time with McCaffery and her family.

Following a strong first half of the season, Clark is making the most of her free time away from basketball. Basketball fans have been looking forward to her inaugural season with the Indiana Fever. But they'll have to wait until the break is over to see her back in action.

She's just giving her body the much-needed rest right now. On social media, a picture of her unwinding on a boat with McCaffery was shared.

The two have been dating since 2023, according to People Magazine. While Clark continues to make history in women's basketball, McCaffery works as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary in April and both of them posted heartfelt messages on social media dedicated to each other.

The Caitlin Clark Effect has reached international basketball

The USA women's basketball team has been on fire since they started their international competition. Including their friendly game against Germany, the team has been 3-0. Their most recent win was against Belgium with the duo of Breanna Stewart and A'ja Wilson leading the team.

They had an 87-74 win, thanks to Stewie's 26 points and seven rebounds. Wilson helped out with her double-double performance of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Despite the women's team's stardom, they struggled to sell tickets during their game against Germany.

According to New York Times reporter Juliet Macur, the game's inability to draw a crowd was caused by Clark's absence.

"Paris 2024 is having trouble selling tickets to the US-Germany women’s basketball game on Aug. 4. ‘Special offer’ tickets now available: only 24 Euros each and the seats can be anywhere in the venue. Maybe front row! Would’ve been a sellout with Caitlin Clark on the team."

The post has since been deleted on social media. According to the Times, the tickets for the exhibition game between Team USA and Germany were priced at 24 Euros with no assigned seating. Attendees had the option to purchase tickets and view the game up close.

Since college, Clark has attracted hordes of fans to watch her game. She's done it during her games in the WNBA, even though she's still a rookie.
