Former ESPN reporter Jemele Hill made waves online with some remarks about Caitlin Clark. After seeing the 2024 No. 1 pick get compared to one of sport's most iconic athletes, she and many others were left appalled.
Over the weekend, a post went viral on X (formerly Twitter) that tried to draw similarities to Clark and Jackie Robinson. The primary reason being that Clark allegedly showed the world the levels of hate and racism in the WNBA as a white woman, as per the post.
As this Caitlin Clark comparison continues to circle around online, Hill and countless other fans were quick to speak out against it.
Some fans even went as far as to say that it's the worst sports take of all time.
"This is the worst take of the year. Disgusted." One fan said.
"This is a contender for dumbest take of all time." Another fan said.
"This is a blasphemous comparison," one fan said.
Last week, Clark saw her historic rookie season come to an end. After leading the Fever to the playoffs for the first time in eight years, they were eliminated in the first round by the Connecticut Sun.
