Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun had set the record of 316 assists over the course of the 2023 season. During a game against the Las Vegas Aces on September 13, Clark logged her 317th assist of the season. She went on to finish the year with 337 assists over 40 regular season games.
Clark also broke the single-game assists record in her rookie year after racking up 19 assists against the Dallas Wings on July 17.
