It seems that Caitlin Clark's signature shoe might be released earlier than expected. The Nike CEO revealed that the Indiana Fever star visited the headquarters to work on some details that need to be completed before the shoe's release.

In a short clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Kicks Finder, Elliot Hill, who's been in charge since Oct. 2024, revealed that Clark's shoe is in development after she visited the company's HQ to work on the shoe design and her logo design.

“We had Caitlin Clark here today. She was in yesterday working on her signature shoe that will launch. And we’re working on her logo and her design of her logo," Hill said.

This comes a month after Paige Bueckers, still in college, had her first player edition shoe model, the Nike G.T. Hustle 3, making her the first college athlete to have her own design.

The last month has been busy for Caitlin Clark fans, as they couldn't fathom how Nike decided to delay Clark's signature shoe's release to 2026, a year after reigning WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson gets her shoe launched. Clark signed with Nike ahead of the 2024 WNBA season, but she'd have to wait two years before seeing her ideas come to fruition.

"Insane. Reading through the call it seems like Nike is saddled with inventory that’s not moving and is going to take margin cuts and a lot of time to get through, as well as too promotional. It’s crazy that they are waiting until 2026 to release Caitlin shoe. The fact it takes 3 years to put it out makes zero sense to me," Ken Swift tweeted on December.

Once it was reported that Clark had visited Nike headquarters and was welcomed with banners, those fans had jokes for A'ja Wilson.

Caitlin Clark stays in the lab preparing for a new WNBA season

While she lets everything take care of itself, Caitlin Clark is hitting the gym to work on her skills. The young guard was recorded working out with Fever's coach Keith Porter in a video that made numbers on social media.

She already made a lot of noise during her rookie season and with Porter and Stephanie White helping them reach the next level, Clark seems bound to establish herself as one of the top-15 players in the WNBA.

Even though she focused on golf to start the offseason, she's back working on what really matters.
