Caitlin Clark's teammate Erica Wheeler explains how she feels about playing for the Indiana Fever alongside the WNBA superstar. Wheeler played 39 games with the Fever last season, mainly off the bench. She had also created a good relationship with Clark.

On Tuesday, Wheeler shared a series of posts on Threads, in which she talked about the Fever fans and Clark, sending a shoutout to the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

"I love my Fever Fans they so solid! Hahaha I love it! Shoutout to CC tho 😎," Wheeler wrote.

More than that, she talked about the 3x3 league, Unrivaled, calling it "elite" a couple of days before its start on Friday, and promised she would attend a game.

"Unrivaled is ELITE! The whole lay out been fire! Content is FIREEEEEEEE! I love it," Wheeler said.
"Definitely pulling up to a game in February! I need to see Unrivaled with my own eyes!" Wheeler added.

Wheeler is active on the social media site, as she constantly engages in conversations with fans. Her 2024 WNBA season was discreet, but she still made an impact beyond the court for the Fever. In 14.0 minutes, she averaged 3.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 41.1% and 84.6% from the free-throw line.

Wheeler has been mentioned as a potential trade chip, especially when Satou Sabally announced she would test free agency.

Erica Wheeler asked Fever fans' expectations about free agency and hyped the All-Star game

Despite being one of the names constantly mentioned as Indiana Fever's potential trade chip in the Satou Sabally sweepstakes, Erica Wheeler doesn't seem to be losing sleep over these rumors. In fact, she asked fans about their favorite free agency storylines on Threads.

"What’s the biggest Free Agency move yall looking forward too? It’s about to get real spicy," Wheeler wrote.

Plenty of fans said they wanted to have Sabally but also keep Kelsey Mitchell and Wheeler on the roster. That said, Wheeler remains excited about the upcoming WNBA season. She also claimed that this year's WNBA All-Star game will be better than its NBA counterpart last year, which the Indiana Pacers hosted.

Indiana's front office has some questions to address this offseason, and Wheeler's future may be one of them.
