Caitlin Clark's welcome to the WNBA has sparked plenty of conversations among fans. The Indiana Fever's young star is considered a generational talent for all the records she broke in college and the attention she's drawn since the 2024 season started.

Clark's effect in the league is huge, with attendance having went up 156% from last year, according to Joe Pompliano. The analyst noted that more than half of the games this season have been sellouts.

The televised games have also seen major changes, averaging 1.32 million viewers, while last season, they averaged 462,000.

Merchandise, social channels and even the League Pass have all benefited from Caitlin Clark's arrival.

Despite being a huge success in the league, Clark's peers doesn't seem to enjoy her presence on the court. One Redditor noted how different other generational rookies like Victor Wembanyama in the NBA and Connor Bedard in the NHL were received by their teams and opponents.

The San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Blackhawks cashed in on their rookies, and the league tried hard to give them exposure, even asking stars from the league about their opinions on these players. Even coaches had good things to say about these future stars who only changed the reality of their teams.

As for Clark, she's making a big difference not only for the Indiana Fever but the entire WNBA. The league wasn't the most popular before she arrived and her presence has only meant more money for the rest of the teams. It's not a secret they started a charter flight program after she was selected in April's draft.

More than half of her WNBA games have been played in front of 17,000 fans and that trend doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Clark brings more eyes to the league and some folks should cherish that instead of trying to attack her whenever they can.

Caitlin Clark was excluded from Team USA roster for the Olympics

Fans and analysts took Caitlin Clark's snub from Team USA's roster for the Olympics as another sample of her not being liked by older WNBA figures.

She still can make the team down the road, but it could be a missed opportunity to leave the reason why the WNBA is getting more exposure and money out of a global event like the Olympics.
