Caitlin Clark showered love on her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, in his latest social media post. The former Iowa men's basketball player is a current assistant coach for the Butler Bulldogs.
McCaffery posted a series of pictures on his Instagram handle showing his coaching highlights with the team. He also captioned the post expressing his gratitude for the opportunity.
"Grateful 🙏🏼 go dawgs !" he wrote.
One of the first people to comment on the post was the Indiana Fever star, who dropped three black heart emojis.
"🖤🖤🖤," Clark posted.
McCaffery also got a lot of respect from Clark's close friend and her Fever teammate Lexie Hull. She reacted with a salute emoji.
"Yes Coach 🫡," Hull commented.
Before being hired by the Bulldogs as the assistant coach, he worked with the Indiana Pacers as the team's basketball development coordinator.
Clark has also attended several Bulldogs' basketball games to support McCaffery. She has also attended Butler games with Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend, Jade Jones.
Caitlin Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffery gives a witty reaction to Fever's post
Caitlin Clark had a historic rookie season with the Indiana Fever. Not only did she win the Rookie of the Year Award, she made and broke several WNBA records. Earlier this month, the Indiana Fever social media handle celebrated the young star with a post dedicated to her.
The Fever's X handle listed 27 major achievements by Clark. The records included league records like most assists by a player in a season and a single game.
However, it seems like Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, knows too well about Clark's talent, and the list wasn't big enough for him.
"Is that all???" he wrote.
The ROTY award by the Fever star was just the start of what would come for her. Caitlin Clark also was named Time's Athlete of the Year. She also made the list of Forbes' World's Most Powerful Women and 30 under 30.
In her historic rookie season, Caitlin Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game. The Fever star shot 41.7%, including 34.4% from beyond the arc.
