The fans inside the College Park Center in Arlington witnessed one of the most scintillating individual performances this season as Fever rookie Caitlin Clark exploded with a huge double-double game.
The former Iowa superstar broke numerous records and minted new milestones during her 24-point game. Clark secured the record for most assists by a WNBA player in a game as she dished out 19 dimes.
The rising superstar flirted with a triple-double but fell short as she ended with six rebounds on the night. Clark registered six turnovers and recorded a +/- of -8.
Clark didn't check out of the game even once and played the entire 40 minutes. The 22-year-old shot 10-of-19, including 2-of-9 from the 3-point range. The rookie shot 52.6% from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc. The Rookie of the Year candidate made two of her three free throws.

The Fever rookie exploded in the second quarter, scoring 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 1-of-2 from beyond the arc. Clark registered four more assists and grabbed two rebounds.
In the third quarter, Clark scored six points, dished out five dimes and grabbed one rebound. The rookie shot 2-of-4, including 1-of-3 from the 3-point range.
In the final quarter, Clark added four points, recorded six assists and bagged two rebounds. She shot 2-of-3, including 0-of-1 from beyond the arc.
Caitlin Clark scripts multiple milestones
Along with securing the record for the most assists in a game, Caitlin Clark dazzled her way to several other milestones. The rookie became the fastest player in history to complete 400 points and 200 assists. She notched u[ the feat in her 26th game, obliterating Sue Bird's mark of 33.
The 22-year-old also became the first player to record a stat line of 20+ points, 15+ assists and 5+ rebounds in a WNBA game. Clark averages 12.5 assists per game game in July, which is the highest for a single month in WNBA history.
