College basketball sensation Cameron Brinks has started her professional basketball journey as a Los Angeles Sparks rookie. The 6-foot-4 center made her WNBA regular-season debut on May 15 against the Atlanta Dream.
She delivered a solid performance, despite her team losing. Two days after that game, Brink posted an Instagram story featuring Sparks head coach Curt Miller and his inclusion on the WNBA rookie's best friends list. She reposted a post featuring her and Curt and accompanied it with the caption:
"Me & my Bestie"
The former Stanford star is enthusiastic about playing under Miller. According to her, Miller has a different way of coaching compared to her Stanford coach, and the thought of playing under a new style excites her.
"I love to learn from all different types of coaches, all different styles of play, so I’m just really excited for his (Curt Miller) advice," Brink said.
The post shared by Brink on her story featured a lot of other photos and was originally posted by Dia Miller, the photographer for the LA Sparks.
Cameron Brink also adds Kim Kardashian's daughter North West to her "besties" list
Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink's debut game was attended by reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian. She was with her daughter, North West, who seems to be Brink's fan.
Kim K visited the Sparks locker room after the game, bringing her daughter North and her friend with her. Brink signed some jerseys for North and her friend and they took some photos that Kim K posted on her Instagram story.
Cameron Brink mentioned the story, writing a caption to go with it:
"My bestie miss westie," Brink wrote.
She called North West her bestie, adding her to the list alongside head coach Curt Miller.
Kim K's daughter was excited while meeting Brink. She received a pair of sneakers as a gift from the Sparks star. Following that, Kim also took photos with the entire Sparks squad.
