Kahleah Copper might be busy with Unrivaled over the weekend, but it didn't stop her from celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the LA Rams. The Eagles are heading to the NFC Championship and will face the Washington Commanders for a trip to the Super Bowl.
However, Copper's former Chicago Sky teammate Candace Parker spilled some tea about her sports fandom. The current Phoenix Mercury star celebrated Philly's win over the LA Rams in the NFL Divisional Round by sharing images of herself wearing Eagles gear on Instagram.
"LET’S HUNTTTT 🦅 🦅🦅 s/o to @mitchellandness for making sure I was prepared on GAMEDAY. #JustAKidFromNorFPhilly," Copper wrote.
Kahleah Copper was wearing a throwback Randall Cunningham jersey while also promoting Unrivaled in the background. Copper, born and raised in Philadelphia, had to root for the Eagles to win this season's Super Bowl title.
However, Candace Parker revealed in the comments section that Copper didn't start following sports until four years ago.
"Did I just spill the tea that u never watched sports before 4 years ago?🤭," Parker commented.
Copper couldn’t believe what her former Chicago Sky teammate had commented. She replied by seemingly confirming the secret and jokingly called out Parker for revealing her business.
"@candaceparker lol omg. Can you stop telling ALL of my business 😭😭😭😭😭," Copper responded.
Copper and Parker won a WNBA championship together with the Chicago Sky in 2021. Copper was named the WNBA Finals MVP but was traded to the Phoenix Mercury before the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Parker added a third title in 2023 with the Las Vegas Aces before announcing her retirement in April of last year. She’s currently working as an analyst for TNT Sports.
