Aside from her impressive rookie season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has become a prominent figure on social media. Yhe Chicago Sky forward showed off her internet tricks in a comical exchange with a journalist.

Earlier this week, Reese hopped on TikTok live with journalist Speedy Morman. While on the stream, he received an odd text message from a random phone number. Reese quickly tried to provide a solution to figure out who sent it, telling him to put the message in Cash App.

Morman followed Angel Reese's advice but brought up being worried about accidentally sending money. The WNBA All-Star jokingly clapped back at him by calling him "cheap."

"Put that number in Cash App," Reese said.
"I'm not doing Zelle, I don't want to accidentally send some bread," Morman replied.
"Cheap a**," Reese said in response.

Morman is a journalist who regularly interviews some of the top names in pop culture on his 360 With Speedy Morman show. His recent interviews includes Reese, rapper Glorilla and comedian/social media personality Druski.

As for Reese, she's gearing up to make her return to competitive play. In five weeks, she will be among the women partaking in the first season of the new Unrivaled League.

Angel Reese shares thoughts on LSU tenure

Before joining the WNBA ranks, Angel Reese burst on the scene in college at LSU. Last week, she gave her honest thoughts on the program during her time there.

Reese began her college career at Maryland but opted to transfer to LSU in 2022. She had an immediate impact on the program, helping lead them to a national title in her first season. However, it seems that she faced her own set of obstacles with this change of scenery.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), LSU women's assistant coach made an elongated post about how intense they treat the program. Angel Reese ended up reposting it and giving her opinion. She didn't shy away from it being tough but said that the experience overall was worth it.

"Don’t come to LSU if you don’t want to rethink this hoop life cause you will be battle tested," Reese tweeted. "happened time after time but definitely sooo worth it!!!"

As a junior at LSU, Reese put up the best numbers of her college career en route to winning a title. Across 36 games, she averaged 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds. Reese followed that up by posting averages of 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds as a senior.

Arriving at LSU helped further put Reese on the map, and played a role in her being drafted seventh overall in 2024. Playing for a strong program was also likely a catalyst in her hitting the ground running in the pros and impressing as a rookie.
