The Seattle Storm bounced back and got their revenge on the Chicago Sky on Sunday night. The Storm and Sky faced off on Friday with the Sky earning the 88-84 victory. Seattle avoided losing back-to-back games at home, beating Chicago 84-71.
While Friday's game was back-and-forth, the Storm fought back to get the victory. They were down early in the first quarter before staving off a huge run from the Sky. They then took over the third quarter, outscoring the visitors 29-14 to take control of the game.
In the fourth quarter, Chicago tried to make a comeback but the Storm had an answer and pulled away late. Seattle improves to 14-7 for the season, while the Sky drop to 8-12.

Chennedy Carter led the way for the Chicago Sky with 21 points on 7-for-22 shooting. Angel Reese made history with her 13th straight double-double, the longest streak the WNBA has ever seen. She finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds and four steals.
Marina Mabrey added 14 points, five rebounds and six assists, while Isabelle Harrison scored 11 points plus four rebounds and two blocks off the bench. Kamilla Cardoso had six points, eight rebounds and four blocks in just 20 minutes of action.

The Seattle Storm heavily relied on their starters to get the win, with just seven players on tonight's rotation. Nneka Ogwumike had a game-high 24 points plus 13 rebounds and two assists. Jewell Loyd contributed 20 points, two rebounds and four assists.
Skylar Diggins-Smith added 15 points, three rebounds, eight assists and two blocks, while Ezi Magbegor finished with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Magbegor also had four assists and three blocks.

The Chicago Sky have four games remaining before the All-Star and Olympic breaks. The Sky are back home for their next game against the Atlanta Dream before facing the New York Liberty in a home-and-home series, starting in Brooklyn and ending in Chicago.
The Sky's final game before the break will be against back-to-back defending WNBA champions Las Vegas Aces at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. It's a tough schedule for Chicago, but they showed that they can beat the top teams.
On the other hand, the Seattle Storm also have four games left before the break. The Storm continue their homestand by welcoming the Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream before flying to Los Angeles for their final game of the first half of the season.
