Rookie Angel Reese and young star Chennedy Carter put on a spectacular performance on Friday. The duo dazzled in Chicago Sky's nerve-jangling 88-84 win against the Seattle Storm on July 5 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
Reese and Carter combined for 60 points and accounted for 68% of the team's total points against the Storm.
Reese, who is one of the leading candidates for the prestigious Rookie of the Year award, enjoyed a career night in Seattle. The former LSU superstar scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 31 minutes on the court.
Chennedy Carter led all scorers and shouldered Chicago's offense with a stellar performance, scoring 33 points on 15-of-24 shooting from the field.
Hoops fans were thrilled after watching a masterclass from Chicago's duo. Fans showered immense praise on the duo for their emphatic display in Seattle.

Carter, on the flip side, crowned Reese as the Rookie of the Year after the Sky rookie tied Candace Parker's record for most consecutive double-double games in WNBA history. Reese recorded her 12th straight double-double on Friday.
Chicago Sky improved to 8-11 on the season and climbed to third place in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Storm are now 13-7, sitting in second place in the West.
Chicago and Seattle will meet again at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday.
