The Chicago Sky host the Connecticut Sun at Wintrust Arena on Wednesday. The Sun bounced back to winning ways after beating the Indiana Fever 89-72 following their first loss of the season at the hands of the New York Liberty.

Meanwhile, the eighth-placed Sky were handed an 89-80 loss by the Atlanta Dream and will look to redeem themselves in what promises to be a stern test against one of the best teams in the league. Connecticut is 10-1 and has been clinical on both ends of the floor.

Health has not been a major issue for the team as the Sun head to the Windy City with just one name out from the roster. Guard Moriah Jefferson was listed as day-to-day but is expected to make a return to the court following an ankle injury that sidelined her for two games.

As for the Sky, they are getting healthier, sans center Elizabeth Williams, who will undergo surgery for her torn meniscus.

The guard has seen a decline in minutes in the eight games she has suited up so far. Jefferson has propped just 2.4 points, 0.8 steals and 0.6 assists across 7.0 minutes of action per game so far this season.

Center Elizabeth Williams is sidelined for the clash on Wednesday following her knee injury against the Washington Mystics. The team announced that the big had torn her meniscus and would require surgery that would put her out of action indefinitely. Her absence comes as a massive blow for Chicago as she was a force in the post.

Williams is in her second season with the Sky and averaged 10.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.6 assists, 1.7 spg and 1.7 bpg in eight games. Stepping up for her will be forward Kamilla Cardoso.

Furthermore, Diamond DeShields has been a regular name featured in the Sky's injury report with a nagging ankle injury. She is listed as probable against the Sun and will likely be a rotation option. DeShields has averaged 6.9 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 2.4 apg so far this season.
