The Connecticut Sun will try to stay unbeaten against the Chicago Sky in their WNBA rematch on Wednesday. Connecticut survived 86-82 in their first encounter behind the heroics of DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas. They will be hoping to get another hard-earned win against the gritty hosts.
Chicago, which is 1-3 in its last four games, is coming off a three-day break which might help the team regain some of its rhythm. Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Malina Mabrey and Dana Evans will again lead the home team.
Wintrust Arena in Chicago will host for the second time the meeting between the Sun and the Sky. The U and NECN will air the game as it happens while streaming is available by subscribing to the WNBA League Pass.

Kamilla Cardoso vs Alyssa Thomas
Kamilla Cardoso was recovering from a shoulder injury in the first encounter between the Sun and the Sky. The 6-foot-7 Brazilian has returned and will anchor Chicago on both ends of the floor on Wednesday. Alyssa Thomas, who gives up five inches, will have her hands full against the former South Carolina star.
Sending help defense to Cardoso in the post could mean Angel Reese will have some wiggle room to cause chaos.
DeWanna Bonner vs Angel Reese
DeWanna Bonner and Angel Reese went toe-to-toe in the first game between the two teams. The veteran had arguably won their head-to-head duels but the rookie also had her moments. If Reese can give Bonner a tough time scoring the ball, Chicago might be able to pull off an upset.
DiJonai Carrington vs Marina Mabrey
Marina Mabrey is the driver that makes Chicago’s offense hum. She will go up against DiJonai Carrington, one of the best perimeter defenders in the WNBA. The Sky offense could stutter if Carrington does her job on the defensive end.
