Caitlin Clark sends her regards to Cameron Brink

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark sends her regards to fellow WNBA rookie Cameron Brink following her injury. During the LA Sparks game against the Connecticut Sun, the second overall pick of the 2024 draft went down to the floor. Brink struggled to stand up as she was escorted off the court.

Brink was later diagnosed with a torn ACL. Due to her injury, she will miss the remainder of the season and the Olympic games as well.

The Fever rookie was asked about Brink's injury and she expressed her sympathy for the Sparks forward.

"Obviously devastating, you don't want to see anybody deal with any sort of injury, an injury of that magnitude," Clark said. "I know she's the type of person that'll be able to get through it and come out stronger. It breaks my heart, she's such a good basketball player, but an even better person," Clark said of Brink.
"She was obviously having a great start to her rookie season and then seeing something so devastating like this. I know she'll come back stronger and so many people are thinking of her and praying for her. I'm sure she's overwhelmed by the support now, she definitely deserves it," Clark added.

Brink was averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists before she got injured. The Sparks rookie played the first 15 games of the season and averaged 22 minutes a game.

Fellow WBNA rookie on Cameron Brink's injury

Caitlin Clark was not the only one in the WNBA community who has reacted to Brink's injury. Angel Reese also expressed her support as her fellow rookie suffered a season-ending injury.

"Prayers for my sweet girl," Reese posted on X.

Both players were part of the 20242 WNBA Draft and have bonded while competing on the court against one another.

Former NBA star accuses Caitlin Clark of being a flopper

The rivalry between Caitlin Clark and her fellow rookie, Angel Reese, has been the focus of the WNBA recently. The hard foul that Reese gave Clark caught the attention of many fans, which fueled many to share their analysis. One of the analysts who shared their thoughts was former NBA star, Gilbert Arenas.

Arenas went on to talk about the feud between the two rookies and accused Clark of being a flopper.

"One’s a flopper… And that’s how she sells certain fouls. But with Angel, she’s rugged. She’s built for trying to bully, she's a bullier. No one feel sorry for the bullier," Arenas said.

The rivalry between the two rookies continues to gain more attention from fans and media alike. Expect more to come as the season goes on.
