Connecticut Sun stars Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner are currently preparing for the WNBA's 2024 All-Star weekend, which will see the WNBA All-Stars compete against Team USA. Ahead of the festivities in Phoenix, both Thomas and her girlfriend, fellow Connecticut Sun star DeWanna Bonner, both hit the orange carpet for the All-Star weekend kickoff event.
Bonner sported a dress, while Thomas wore an all-black suit complete with a diamond necklace with the Olympic rings, drawing the attention of fans who praised the couple for their fashion-forward outfits.
At one point, while the two spoke to reporters, Bonner took it upon herself to fix Thomas' Olympic-themed diamond necklace, making sure that fans and media members could clearly see the stunning piece of jewelry.
WNBA fans were quick to react, gushing over the couple, who will be competing against each other this weekend. Bonner was named a WNBA All-Star this season and will be competing against Thomas and the rest of Team USA on Saturday in the WNBA All-Star vs. Team USA showcase.
In response to the video, posted by the WNBA, highlighting how DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas are best friends both on and off the court, fans were quick to weigh in.

Looking ahead at the upcoming game between Team USA and the WNBA All-Stars that will see DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas compete against each other
The WNBA's All-Star weekend will begin tonight in Phoenix Arizona, where the three-point contest and the skills competition will both take place. According to reports, both Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark have turned down an opportunity to compete in the three-point contest.
Despite that, both will then be in action on Saturday night when the WNBA All-Stars take on Team USA as they prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The WNBA All-Stars were selected via a voting system that took into consideration the votes of fans, WNBA players, and various WNBA reporters and broadcasters.
From there, the top ten players who weren't already on Team USA were assigned to the WNBA All-Star team, with the WNBA's head coaches then filling out the remaining roster spots.
