WNBA fans reacted to the league not recognizing Caitlin Clark making Forbes 2025 "30 Under 30" list in the sports category. Forbes released the list on Wednesday, recognizing the most impactful individuals aged under 30.
Despite getting such big recognition from Forbes, WNBA's social media handles didn't make any congratulatory posts dedicated to her. WNBA fans slammed the league for ignoring such a big opportunity to promote both Clark and in turn the league itself.
Some of the fans even alleged that the league on purpose didn't acknowledge Clark's big feat.
"Now imagine if the WNBA league could be this PROfessional. They are purposely not acknowledging Caitlin being in this list," a fan wrote.
"Did the @WNBA miss this announcement??? What about @CathyEngelbert did you miss it too? CC was in the top 10 yet the league doesn’t congratulate her when congratulating others ranked lower… Why don’t you want to promote the Face of the W? Actually the Face of all womens sports," another fan wrote.
A fan slammed the WNBA "X" admin.
"To bad the league doesn't recognize Caitlin. It's really embarrassing what the WNBA admin does on X," the fan wrote.
Some fans also sarcastically took to shot at the league for its carelessness in promoting the league.
"At least someone posted it 😂," a fan wrote.
"THANK U FOR POSTING SINCE WNBA WONT❤️❤️🔥," another fan wrote.
"How long we gonna wait until the W acknowledges it?" the fan wrote.
A fan even urged the Caitlin Clark fans to block the league's social media accounts, calling the admin "useless."
"It's probably better for CCFC to block the @WNBA official account, as the admin seems useless," the fan wrote.

Kate Martin and Caitlin Clark played four seasons together with the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2020 to 2024. While Clark played four college seasons, Martin played five seasons, all with the Hawkeyes.
Martin played 34 games for the Aces in her rookie season. However, she found it difficult to find minutes on a team filled with veteran stars. She averaged 2.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.2 blocks per game.
