DiJonai Carrington surprised her Connecticut Sun teammate Marina Mabrey with a wholesome gesture hours after her hilarious jab at Mabrey, whose career earnings are $639,881 per Spotrac. During Friday's practice for Unrivaled, Carrington gifted Mabrey a set of seasoning ingredients and shared her reaction to the surprise on X, formerly Twitter.
"alright y’all I had to run to the store and get my girl right!! just a lil starter pack ! don’t worry , ima show her how to use em 😫😫😂❤️❤️," Carrington tweeted.
"You made me smile, I was sad before you came over here," Mabrey said in the video shared by Carrington.
This came after DiJonai Carrington took a jab at Marina Mabrey's post on X hours before in which Mabrey shared a snap of avocado oil spray, black pepper and pink salt coupled with a caption that read, "I can finally coook." Carrington reshared the tweet and hilariously questioned Mabrey's cooking skills.

The inaugural season of the 3x3 women's basketball league is scheduled to tip off on Jan. 17 in Miami.
