Lexie Brown expressed her disappointment over a recent incident in her latest post on X. The LA Sparks star summed up her thoughts in response to the controversial take of the "Club 520 Podcast's panel.
On the Dec. 24th episode of the podcast, Jeff Teague, DJ Wells and B Hen discussed the difference between men's and women's basketball. They claimed that Bronny James and Bryce James would beat Caitlin Clark in a 1v1 situation and it applied to the majority of the women's league.
Teague said that any Division 1 NCAA player from the men's tournament would dominate all the players in the WNBA.
Moreover, another guest Charleston White doubled down on his NSFW remarks on Angel Reese by expressing his desire to see the Sky star start OnlyFans account and make videos dunking in short clothing. At one point he even stated, “I think Angel Reese wanna sell p***y.”
White also took a jab at Brittney Griner making a remark on her Russian imprisonment.
These statements did not sit right with Lexie Brown. She made a series of posts to present her opinion on the subject.
"wrong is wrong. No matter what or who is being discussed. I'm glad people are finally seeing the unnecessary disrespect that women athletes face," Brown posted.
A fan followed the Sparks star's line of thought and said that the "Club 520 Podcast's" panel should be ashamed of their statement. Brown dropped in the post's comment section to agree with the fan's views.
In another post, Lexie Brown expressed her concerns about the off-camera conversations that would happen between the panel members.
"the most unsettling part is that I can't even imagine what those conversations are like off camera," she wrote.
Brown has been out of action for quite some time now. She has been battling Crohn's disease. She played only 16 games last season and averaged 8.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
