The Connecticut Sun trolled pop culture sensation Drake with a post on their official X account. The WNBA team posted an image of a crushed van with the Sun's logo on the crushing machine and the LA Sparks logo on the crushed van after Sun's win over the Sparks on Tuesday.

They accompanied their post with the caption:

"Hey Drake, we finished what you couldn't."

The post was a reference to the recent beef between Drake and hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar. The two musical artists had exchanged a series of diss tracks against each other and in one of those tracks, Drake had used the family van of Lamar from his m.A.A.D City album cover and placed it under a crushing machine. He used that image as a cover for his song sending symbolic meaning to Lamar.

The Sun trolled him with a crushed version of the van taunting the pop star. The fans were enthralled on seeing a WNBA franchise taking shots at a pop star. They flooded the comments section with troll comments of their own.

"Damn Admin..everybody done cooked Drake this year."
"Drake is cooked," @ErrandRogers said.
"COOK THAT SORRY A** NI**A," @LeBronTheOne said.

While some fans roasted Drake, some complimented the Connecticut Sun media team for the innovative idea.

"Sun media team needs a raise," @alex_bullens said.
"Elite trolling," @chillcookie25_8 said.
"CT Sun admin, I love you," @DariusPSmith said.

The Connecticut Sun won but did not 'crush' the Los Angeles Sparks

The Connecticut Sun secured victory against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night but it was by no means a crushing defeat as suggested by their admin on X in a post trolling Drake. The Sun grabbed a mere nine-point win (79-70) over their opponents and exaggerated it as a crushing defeat on social media.

Connecticut Sun were the better team overall as all of their players scored in double digits. DeWanna Bonner led the charts with 16 points, seven rebounds and one assist. She was supported by Tyasha Harris who posted 14 points and two assists.

Los Angeles Sparks on the other hand had one of their worst performances this season. Aari McDonald was the leading scorer for them with just 14 points, four rebounds and seven assists. To make matters worse, Sparks rookie Cameron Brink was carried off the court after she collapsed due to a leg injury at the beginning of the game.
